Join us this summer for five weeks of fun, creativity, adventure and discovery at Sands End Arts & Community Centre’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme.

Running Monday to Friday from 9am–2pm, the programme offers children and young people aged 4–11 a chance to make friends, learn new skills, stay active and enjoy healthy meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Whether your child loves being active, making things, exploring the outdoors or trying something new, there’s something for everyone at SEACC this summer.

Enrol in our Young Engineers’ camp and your child will be a Young Engineer discovering how things work by building motorised models out of LEGO® from our tailor-made Young Engineers kits. Each child will work with their own kit.

At Young Engineers, it’s all about learning through play. Each day begins with an introduction to a new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) concept through experiments and stories.

Your child will implement the principle using original custom-designed motorised LEGO® models. Then the children play with and enhance their models using their imagination and what they have just learnt, while having fun.

Dates: Monday 13th – Friday 24th July, and Monday 24th August – Friday 4th September (weekdays)
Location: The Pavilion, South Park main field (closest to Sands End Community Centre), London, SW6 3AA
Hours: 10am-2pm, with the option to extend to 3pm for £12.50
Pricing: from £55.00 per day

Big, active, screen-free days for little ones across the summer holidays. Inside The Pavilion there’s arts & crafts, music & movement, treasure hunts, a relaxed lunch and a storytime wind-down; out in the park there’s sports on the green, playground adventures, obstacle courses, parachute games and nature challenges. Our coaches are friendly and DBS-checked, with an Early Years teacher on-site, and the camp is inclusive and SEN-friendly.

Cygnets run two holiday workshops per day during half terms and school holidays, so you can choose to attend one, several, or all sessions.

Please ensure your child brings a labelled bottle of water and a snack. Students attending two workshops on the same day should bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the classroom during the break.

Cygnets Art School is a NUT-FREE ZONE, and any nut-based products will be set aside and returned to parents at the end of the class.

We also recommend that all students wear messy clothes or an apron.

We are delighted to announce that we will be back this summer to celebrate our tenth anniversary with a new production of Love’s Labour’s Lost, Shakespeare’s sparkling comedy of flirtation, foolishness and the irresistible pull of love. The production will be directed by Toby Gordon.

Poetry open mic with Write London. 2 July, 7pm-8.30pm 

The evening will feature readings by poets Naino Masindet and Tom Mallender – directors of Write-London – who will be hosting the open mic for anyone wanting to read their own work – with each slot lasting 5 minutes.
