Looking for your first paid job?
Open Doors is a supported employment programme for adults with learning disabilities who have completed a supported internship and are ready to take the next step into paid work.
Participants will complete a seven-month paid placement at the Walnut Tree Café, working up to 12 hours per week at the London Living Wage. Along the way, you’ll receive hospitality training, personalised workplace support and help from a Job Coach to prepare for employment after the programme.

What happens next?

Informal interviews and café visits: Week starting 24th of August

Successful applicants notified, inductions and trainings begin: Week starting 31 August

Programme starts: Week starting 21 September

Ongoing Job Coach support begins: Following completion of the placement
