H&F Active Wellbeing Festival 2026 Brings the Community Together at SEACC

On Saturday 11 July, Sands End Arts & Community Centre was delighted to welcome hundreds of local residents to the H&F Active Wellbeing Festival 2026 – a free community celebration organised by Hammersmith & Fulham Council in partnership with SEACC.

Held across the centre and South Park, the afternoon showcased the very best of community wellbeing, encouraging people of all ages to get active, try something new and connect with local organisations and neighbours in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

The event featured a packed programme of free activities including line dancing, steel pan performances, AfroBeats, circus skills, Tai Chi, Double Dutch skipping, children’s activities, health checks, wellbeing information, and herbal therapy and nutrition workshops. Visitors also enjoyed live entertainment, community stalls and opportunities to discover local services available throughout Hammersmith & Fulham.

The festival’s main stage was expertly hosted throughout the day by MC Tania, whose energy and enthusiasm helped keep the celebrations flowing from the opening performances through to the final acts.

As a community hub, SEACC was proud to once again provide the venue for an event that reflects our mission of bringing people together through creativity, health, culture and community. It was fantastic to see families, friends and residents enjoying the sunshine, taking part in activities and discovering everything our local community has to offer.

We would like to thank Hammersmith & Fulham Council and Active Successful Engagement ACE for organising another fantastic Active Wellbeing Festival, MC Tania for hosting the day’s programme, all of the performers, activity leaders, exhibitors, volunteers and the SEACC team whose hard work made the event such a success. We also would like to give a special thanks to the young people from Faces of Fulham project who took these fantastic photographs on the day!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along and made the festival such a vibrant celebration of community. We look forward to welcoming you back to SEACC again soon.
