Join us for an evening of lively political debate with Radio 4’s Any Questions?
Come and join us on Sunday 26 March for a piano recital by Fulham local Tyler Dillard.
Tyler Dillard is participating in the 31st International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs in Paris at the end of the month and this recital is his rehearsal in front of an audience.
The programme:
Bach: Toccata in E minor, BWV 914
Beethoven: Piano Sonata No. 21 in C major, Op. 53 – “Waldstein” – Allegro con brio
Liszt: Liebestraum No. 3 in A-flat major
Scriabin: Prelude in C major, Op. 11 No. 1
And one or two surprise pieces.
Doors open at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start although Walnut Tree Cafe will remain open if you wish to arrive earlier and enjoy a drink beforehand.
This is a free event and no booking is required.
Tyler Dillard, raised in Alabama, is a classically trained pianist and lawyer at Swiss Re. He is also a trained classical singer, marathon runner and human rights advocate. He is active at St Mathew’s Church, Fulham, where he enjoys singing, playing in and conducting the church’s Christmas choir.
