We’re absolutely delighted to share that our annual fundraising event, Music, Magic & Mayhem, was a great success – raising over £5,000 for Sands End Arts & Community Centre!
SEACC continues to showcase emerging musical talent in Sands End
As part of its ongoing efforts to showcase local artists and performers, SEACC is proud to be hosting the Elia Do Mar Trio on Wednesday 30 August from 5pm.
Led by talented Elia Martins Alexandre, the trio will play a number of original compositions, alongside some familiar favourites.
Having discovered jazz listening to his father’s record collection, Elia started as a self-taught musician and is now a student at the London Youth Conservatoire. He’s inspired by the great jazz pianists of the past, including Horace Silver, Sonny Clark, Herbie Hancock, Emmet Cohen, Bud Powell and Wynton Kelly.
The event is free to all the community, so come down and hear a potential star of the future.
