SEACC does summer camp for the first time ever! Following on from the success of our Winter and Easter camps, we’ll be running 5 weeks of activity over the summer holidays to keep primary school aged children that are eligible for free school meals fit and fed.

Silver Social with LBHF

Hammersmith & Fulham’s Silver Socials are fun, free meet ups for older residents who are feeling isolated, vulnerable or lonely.

These socials happen every three months and at each you can enjoy bingo, raffles, dancing, live music and refreshments. Everyone’s welcome, all you have to do is turn up.

Our next Silver Social is taking place Wednesday 25 June at Sands End Arts & Community Centre, Fulham, 12noon-4pm.

The afternoon will include a hot lunch, bingo, a raffle, health information, live entertainment and more.

This New Ground’s Studio Exhibition

Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the creativity and talent of the artists from This New Ground’s Art Studio.

Launched in November 2024, TNG’s Art Studio—based at the Creighton Centre in Hammersmith and Fulham—is a vibrant, inclusive space supporting artists with a learning disability. This curated exhibition features a diverse range of artworks developed in our studio, where artists are encouraged to experiment, express themselves, and grow creatively.

🎭 PLUS: Experience the energy, talent, and spirit of This New Ground’s wider creative community through TNG’s choir performance, as part of this special evening.

This is a wonderful opportunity to:

Positive Living with Epilepsy’ Event

Epilepsy is a complex condition that is very different from person to person, and often misunderstood in our society as a result.
People with epilepsy are teaming up across London to be more outspoken in the UK about their situations with new friendly presentations.  For an audience that do have it & everyone else interested, alongside useful shared information on the ways they have successfully dealt with their complex work & social situations.
At this meeting Shaun will be explaining the experiences he has had in life, along with his ability to become very confident and successful at work, giving others inspiration and new confidence.

Sculpting the Self

This series of six sculpting workshops with Sophia Daly Rossin focuses on the process of working with clay—not producing a finished piece. Through a mixture of exercises and games, we’ll explore different ways to make, think, and play. Along the way, you’ll improve your skills, creativity, well-being, and confidence.

  • Free for residents of Hammersmith & Fulham [use code: ResHF]

  • These workshops are open to all skill levels.

  • Due to limited spaces, booking in advance is essential.

  • All materials will be supplied

 

The Three Core Elements

Each session involves three interconnected elements: physical skill-building, emotional and therapeutic exploration, and connection through playful, inventive games.

1. Practical & Technical Skill Development

  • Refining your sculpting abilities through guided exercise
  • Building confidence in form, proportions, and likeness
  • Developing hand-eye coordination and motor control
  • Exploring perception and perspective
  • Strengthening tactile manipulation and proper use of tools

2. Emotional & Therapeutic Exploration

  • Engaging the body through meaningful movement
  • Sculpting with music as emotional expression
  • Practising self-discovery through free-form sculpting
  • Heightening sensory awareness
  • Self-expression through gesture and form

3. Fun & Playful Connection

  • Encouraging creativity and curiosity through play
  • Games that spark imagination and experimentation
  • Activities that foster communication and connection
  • Collaboration, teamwork, laughter, and light-hearted fun
